Mid-Shore Community Foundation Partners With Local Nonprofit Organizations
The Mid-Shore Community Foundation recognizes the importance of strong nonprofit agencies serving the Mid-Shore community. The strength of this community is directly related to the strength of our nonprofit organizations. Because of that, the Mid-Shore Community Foundation is committed to the support of Mid-Shore nonprofits so that these critical community resources can strengthen their services and expand their capacity to serve the Mid-Shore community.
What We Offer
By partnering with the Mid-Shore Community Foundation, nonprofits can access a range of services at MSCF which can include sponsorship of training and education opportunities, resources for fund development, management and investment of organizational endowments, services in support of capital campaigns, support for start-up nonprofits, and support for planned giving programs. MSCF Sponsored Resources for Fund Development
In partnership with Chesapeake College, the Mid-Shore Community Foundation sponsors the Foundation Center. The center provides visitors with free public access to grantmaker directories, books on fundraising and nonprofit management, and the Foundation Center’s electronic database, The Foundation Directory Online. The fully searchable database includes detailed profiles of all active U.S. foundations, as well as an extensive file of recent grants awarded by the nation’s top funders.
Organization Endowment Funds
The Mid-Shore Community Foundation offers “turnkey” solutions to nonprofits seeking a steady stream of permanent endowment support. We can build an endowment fund for your organization; accept stock, real estate and other “complex gifts” on behalf of your donors; and much more. Learn about our investment management program.
